I forget the coordinates off hand, but I found a nest of these beauties (and tamed 3 or 4 babies off it, only kept 2 though) right near Moenia (on Scylla) about 2 weeks ago. They're easily the best pets I've ever had, becaue of the combination of speed, strength and level low enough that they can be called together, or with another strong pet, and fight together. Up until the CH-%@&%ing done by the latest publish, they were my hunting partners.

soulsyphon, have you tested your narglatch tag team against krayts yet? My guess is that ur three pets plus you should be able to take norm canyons, but grands, ancients, and giants might take two to three teams of them.

yeah these are my personal favorite there only down side is lacking in a ranged attack..if they had that they would be ideal for PvP. The ranged attack is needed just because alot of proffesions now have area attacks if i could spread them out and then attack ranged it would be alot better but stil i see it this way the GPS is the wild tame with the most damage max at 513 damage at lvl 50 ,but if you compare them to a female narglatch 321 damage at lvl 22 X 2 your doing 642 damage at combined lvl of 44, so more damage for less level and more health on a single narglatch then the gps. :-)

Well my 3 narglatch babies are still growing but I took them out last night at levels 11, 8 and 8 and the 3 of those girls were tearing up Level 55 Slinking Voritors with no help from me. What I noted is that the Voritor would pound on one cat more than the other for awhile and not always necessarily the level 11 cat that was doing the most damage. One time my level 8 got beat down close to incapp but the 3 girls always finished off the Voritors first. And their Health Regen is awesome. I can't wait to try them out when all are fully grown :)

P.S.S. lol by the way Hossp i've seen them liqufy a lvl 81 giant dune kimo so there goes the theory of a lvl 80 killing them..sure they take alot of damage but in the end they kick its butt then quickly recharge health
Soulsyphon Wed May 11 2005 1:53:00 PM
P.S.
And since this thing has about the same health as a lvl 80, and combined damage of the 3 cats would put them at a max damage per second of 481(or combined total of 963 every 2 seconds)(321 X 3 )there collective health would be 23154(or 7718 X 3)the only advantage a lvl 80 would have is better to hit thats it/r but since you have 3 pets attacking a single lvl 80 the lvl 80 gets in 1 try to hit every 2 seconds where as each cat gets in 1 try every 2 seconds so would need to almost multiply there to hit by 3 to get odds of all 3 getting a chance to hit..it is unlikely all 3 cats will miss per volley.

Hossp not sure what you mean by damge modifiers because no creature now has specials like poison and so on/r there is only 3 things to llok at in creatures now and 4 if you want a mount..the other 3 are speed of attack, which every wild creature is 2.0 or worse ...damage...and health..since pets also no longer have resists in wild pets
hossp Wed May 11 2005 11:12:00 AM
yeah but at lvl 22 the damage multilpliers will have them dead VERY quickly..damage means noting..it the multipliers..and at lvl 22..a lvl80 mob will kill it in one shot
Soulsyphon Tue May 10 2005 11:35:00 PM
P.S. they are following norms of a creature twice there lvl.

I have to say i've been looking pretty heavy to find anything else are around this lvl and have not found anything that can compete....pound for pound this just might be the most powerful tamable in the game right now bar none. There stats follow a trend ...the tamable narglatch are the female/cub and standard types, the non tamable narglatches are the hunter/guardian/matriarch. All the non tamable narglatch types have very high health and damage for there lvl ,and all the tamable ones except the female narglatch have health /damage stats around norms for the lvl, but the female narglatch followstrends like the non tamable ones used for the narglatch caves on naboo. So here is my theory: the female narglatch was not ment to be tamable, but was made so in error, but because itwas the game generated a wild nest with them in it(hence where i tamed 3 of them from the same nest)so get these before devs catch on and it goes extint . I hope they only remove baby spawns and not mess with its stats, because these are the perfect damage pet.
Soulsyphon Mon May 9 2005 7:52:00 PM
these are now the highest lvl tamable narglatch sine the CU the stats for the health and attack damage are current, as well as there lvl

I've had one of these for ages, they're great PVE pets for their level.
