I dont know about other places, but in the mountains north of the talusian imp outpost there are really common. I must have seen like 5 babies on my Kima search.

Gerosis, the reason u can't tame this is because they're too vicous, you need taming 2 to get the prerequisites to tame most really aggressive creatures....Or it could just be that the devs have screwed up taming again.

lvl 18?? i can tame a max of 18, and a lot of the creatures i cant tame say 18 on here, including the mottled wrix and teh giant carrion spat, as well, when i was just starting, with a limit of 12, i cudnt tame kaadu, then i tamed one and it said 12, is there some limit that prevents u from taming an animal just ur lvl??

Lair: a thicket

I just completed a trip to Corellia's mountainous areas. Very fertile regions for all sorts of pets! Picked up two giant carrion spats, a razor cat, and just for grins, a mottled wrix. The region north of Doeba Guerfel seems especially rich in tameable creatures. And yeah, that disease can be nasty. A mottled wrix ambushed me within moments of venturing out of town, before I knew what they even were! By the time it ran its course, the disease had eaten a third of my health!

The disease from this thing is annoying as hell but weak. It can go on for nearly three hours if left uncured.

These spawn with the normal wrix, and the lairs start pumping out mobs as you take out the adults so be carefull to not drawn aggro on the baby.
