can't tame razor cat

Why can I not tame a razor cat? I reached level IV in creature tamming but still can't tame a razor cat. It says you don't have the skills to tame this. There is no higher level of taming.

not sure but if you are 4000 it could be a problem..you should have enough vicious taming mods from that tree..you could try some be clothes or food

At 4000, you are CL22. Regular razor cat isn't aggressive (according to the data base here) so vicious mod shouldn't matter. Have you tamed one yet? The females and the crimsons are aggressive, and I think the crimson is a few levels higher. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.
One tame at a time :)
