Hi Firespray, and welcome!

Every box that we train adds to the level of creature that we can control. The bottom boxes (up to 2222) add +2 per box. The tier 3 boxes add +3 per box. The tier 4 boxes add +5 per box. The master crown box adds +10 for a grand total at master of CL70. That's our limit.

On the home page here, right below where you click to get to these forums, is a hotlink called 'guides'. If you click that, you will get a list of assorted guides concerning our profession. One of those guides is called 'skill tree'. It is a visual representation of what each box has to offer. It's a great tool for charting your way to CH mastery.

For aggressive creatures, you will need to go up the 4xxx line as well. The other boxes increase your max CL, but only gives the Tame Wild modifier.

In the bottom left corner of your skills window, look for the \"max pet level\" modifier (or something close). Whatever this mod says is your max CL.
