Hidden in this post is an obscure question. Here is the obscure answer...

The entire skill is the tree with each of the four tiers being the branches :)

Anyways, how do i set SWG to windowed mode? It would be very handy, especially when i wanna check the site or let my mom check her e-mail... :(

Bah, the devs need to go outdoors more often if they think *that* is a tree :)
skill line, skill column I can accept but skill tree? Thats what it was called in Diablo II but there it actually branched too :)

When you start the patcher (right after you enter your password) you have an option button at the bottom of the window. Click that and check windowed mode. You might also need to check the options for mouse, Ie so you dont use hardware or fast mouse routines. If Alt+Tab doesnt release the mouse cursor you need to do that.
While the game is loading it tends to not work with alt+tab, ctrl+esc works though. YMMV though.
