as i said in my post \"GPS Spot\" i tamed a GPS one day ago,,, was damn lucky and i got it after 3 days of camping and area tracking the inner plains of cor.... 3 days means around 1 or 2 hours per day in totally i would say 4 or 5 hours..... my tatic was first to the inner plains north of coronet to areatrack ( ranger skill xx3x ) the environment for random..... and i got a GPS track after 10 min hehe, as i said before, the first GPS saw in 5 month of playin lol... so i blame the areatrack hehe, very resourceful!
after killin the 4 spawned adults there were no more spawns at this point for a whole day, not even other pets spawned... then there appeared random other creatures... tabages, spats, corsec troopers....
so i deceided to search for another spot and did it that way : i created waypoints for all locations that r noticed at this site,... look at the creatur description and the real nice field guide for GPS, dunno the author atm, but nice work really ..... in this way found out the borders of GPS spots and then created way points from 1 to 12 in a slugs house circle ( hope u know wot i mean hehe, im german so sry for the bad english ).
then i begun to drive this circle around and area tracked the environmet all 500 metres.... in that way it was easy to find another GPS. im not sure if it only was damn luck or if the GPS arent so rare as some ppl think, but this was only the second spot i found and the last spawn was a baby. The good about this is, if ther is a baby there will be no adult there wot could agro u while taming hehehe, but u will ever have to kill the adult GPS to get a chance for a baby spawn.
Look at my post \"GPS Spot\" for the wp i tamed a baby from, on Farstar server theres a player city near and players from there told they are often attacked by GPS, so this area should be a could chance to meet one.
in fact i believe the GPS arent so rare as some ppl believe, the difficulty is to find them coz they are ever alone and have no lairs, also i think there are maybe only one spawn location active at a time... area track is real usefull for, i myself wouldnt have been able to find GPS but with area track it shouldnt be a big problem.
about the rarity of the babys.... hmm, as i said, the second spawn got me a baby so i had to kill 7 adults before ( 4 at the first spot , 3 at the second ) so for me it wasnt real rare hehehe

maybe a usefull hint to find a GPS
i think you were very lucky..i killed aroud 40 spawns to get mine and i know people who have killed 50+ and yet to find a baby...in all sucessfull hunts i've heardabout it seems there a two spawns close together and it seems if you kill 7 relatively quickly the 8th has been a baby...not sure if theis is true but that's the way mine went down as well as a friend's on my server
