In the movies I have heard this word twice, once by Jabba, once by Ani's rodian friend Wald. Both speak Huttese, and wald said it with the inflection of "rats!" "drat!" or something similar, so I wonder If its just a Hutt word, with no relation to the amphibian.

omg its hard i take me tkm/mch im useing a rancor lvl 50 and 5 jedi padawans and we almost didin't make it "not to be messed with!"
