Yeah, just look at that picture, it was if he is saying 'sniff, sniff, i wish i was a regular rancor. Those guys are so neat.'

Have to agree with Xanth

With no kinetic resists, it's just as easy and better to get a plain vanilla Rancor provided you can handle the extra 4 levels of difficulty. The regular Rancor has better specials too

I tamed one today on 3rd try their not much of a challenge to get at all. Couple friends and I were getting normal "Rancor Lair" missions and a Gnarled baby came outta the first one. We did them outta the Science Outpost on Dathomir

i tamed one today, but once i stored it and called it back it has lost all his resists (energy heat, cold, electricity)... :/

do you mean the LESS difficult planets like talus or dant? because neither of those two planets house very tough creatures.

I took a small group of uber guys on a rancor-baby hunt today. In less than an hour I tamed 1 of these. It's a good pet, but regular rancor babies were a bit more common and stronger. Still a good pet for some of the more difficult planets (dantooine or talus for example) though I'd hesitate taking him to dathomire or yavin 4 without backup.
