This species of graul has such a wierd taming system. Over about three babies, i've tryed and failed about 30+ times. My buddy was the same way, but his second one got tamed easy... I have yet to give up but these guys are starting to piss me off.

I found a beebie after a minute of spawning after logging. I was seriously looking for a minute, and found one :D
I burstran away twice, and caught it the third time :D I'm pretty sure they mustn't be that rare anymore, but a certainly worthy pet!

I tamed three babies today on Gorath. The landscape is barren on Dantooine due to cities and jedi grinding. The best way to get these is to group up and get missions, unless you happen upon one by chance. I found a mission lair and took advantage while the getting was good. Noone showed up to claim it.

WOOT! Two tamed on Ahazi. Suckerpunched was with me the first time but second time I went solo. I know they aren't the rarist pet but they are good for me. I can control max level 37 right now, Im 3,3,2,3

velm is right, hardhitters and i were doin missions for fun, the first baby despawned when the lair reset and we must have chased the second for a good 45 mins. It aggroed on hardhitters about 20 times too. Fun to watch these get tamed, not fun for the tamer

Where do you think is the best place to tame one of these? I want one and am just wondering where I should look.

I have to agree to the person that said it can be difficult to get these guys. I found a lair by accident, and a baby was there. He aggroed on me about four times, the last time, him and his mommy killed me. So, I went to c'net to get healed and buffed and brought a buddy along. We killed the first set of guards, a baby got thrown in the mix and died (all i saw were arms flailing around, somehow I must have targeted him by accident). Next set of guards still no baby, finally with the lair at 1/2 a baby finally spawned. This one aggroed on me many times as well. Finally got him, though. 3/3/2/3 wook with BE clothes. Well worth it.

I ran into two babies the first time I took a mission for them. I've yet to try them out as a team, but it should be interesting. I pulled the mission with a rancor, mountain dewback, and a level 13 droid, by the way - fairly easy to get high-level missions that way.

Because you can get missions for these, I believe they are easier to find than the normal Grauls. I was able to pull up one of these missions just being grouped with my CL31 BE Graul. Plus I usually see at least one baby per mission, and have seen upto 4. They are a bit difficult to tame at times, so you'll want to use any taming and maskscent bonuses you have. I tamed maybe 3 of these in one trip to Dantooine.

You can easily find babies in Graul Mauler missions that run for around 12,000 credits from the Dantooine Mining Outpost (furthest north starport).

These used to be the cream of the crop when it came to pulling out two pets, but now they're just average. There's pets just as good (or better) now; the boar wolf ravager, for example. I still like their appearance, so of course, like many CHs out there, I'm looking for the god of all grauls, the frenzied graul. I've been searching for months, and all I find are these lil boogers =)

Actually, it's funny. I have a level 50 creature and can now get graul mauler lairs. Two to three babies spawn per lair. I'd say it's definitely better to run a mission than hope for a spawn point. Of course, these devils are REALLY hard to spawn.

I've been all over Dant... have yet to see a lair let alone one of these beasts. I'll try the abandoned rebel base in hopes. Thanks for the tip!

If you can't find a group for missions, try searching around the abandoned Rebel base. All other types of grauls spawn around there aswell.

I got mine from the mining on Dant. They are not on Dath. Get in a good group and you can get them as mission, 13k i believe.

have just taken 3 hours of graul mauler missions from the Imp. Outpost - ended up with 9 babies, 2 lairs gave me 2 babies each

When looking for these babies I usually take Mauler missions from the Imperial Outpost. However I constantly find these missions to be bugged, sometime just disapearing half way through and Babies apearing but fanishing into thin air! Have only seen two babies from one lair the once, usually one or none from each lair.

You can also do /pet instead of /nuzzle if you don't want to be caught nuzzling your Graul!

i figured out a way to make my mauler beat his fists on the ground and play peek-a-boo for his tricks 1 and 2. my picture editor sucks ass or i'd post a pic of my mauler doing both. well all you do is click on your pet and type /nuzzle untill he sits. then perform trick 1 for fist pounding action (lol) or trick 2 for peek-a-boo. hope you like them.
