Setting them free... Krayts being tamable... Killing newbs... If newbs were getting killed, who was setting them free? An ubernoob? Uh no. Never happened. Setting a pet free = destroying the pet deed from the datapad, nothing more.

these are so easy to find, just walk a little north of theed..sometimes i have found them, and i can still see the skyline of theed in the distance.then again i am a ranger, so area track helps

Ive heard stories that in the beginning even kraytes could be tamed...but i guess that CH's were setting them free in cities, and all the noobs kepts getting killed lol.

Saw one a couple nights ago (the 22nd I believe) and took several screenshots, including one with the HAM. The one I saw had "only" about 78000. I also took a screenshot of the stats I could view. I'll send them in so you can update and verify. I didn't attack it hehe.

Last night I stumbled on this guy not far from a patrol of stormies. So just for fun I thought I would agro him, jump on my swoop, and lead him to the stormies, just to see if they could take him down. I kept about 50m away and fired off one shot at him with my laser carbine, but before I could even mount my swoop I was already blinded, stunned, incapped, and DB'ed. I'll chalk that one up to Great Moments in Stupidity.

I heard a rumer that this guy was tamable at the start of the game.. is that true? Cuase yuo can handle up to like level 200.

Every spawn I've found of these on Lowca has been a multiple spawn, 4 to 5 birds. Incredible area attack ... dragged one near a lair, and one attack took out 7 or 8 critters in the area. Nice solo fight for a swordsman, but I'd hate to think about soloing these as a MPistoleer (as I used to be).

I just soloed three of these as a Pikeman (same spawn spot), pretty tough bird! It dizzed me, stunned me, blinded me, intimidated me, and knocked me down a lot. With good melee defenses, armor and buffs it just takes time. I looted quite a few feathers from two of them.

How common is it to find more then 1 of these together? A friend /t me that one had spawned while he was taking out Giants. While we were working on it, another spawned. After the 4th one, I did an area track and saw 2 more in the area. We called it quits at that point.

This is one tough bird :) I took it out alone unbuffed and it took me around 15 mins because I had trouble using special attacks :) Fencer/swordsman Rocks :)
