you sometimes get high ham abborations last thing out of a dying lair. Like the time I got owned by a kaadu 'cos I really wasn't expecting some monstor kaadu to emerge from the nearly dead lair as I buggered off for a drink.

On a similar subject, I've been trying for days to find a grizzled dewback. The (normally fantastic) swgcreatures suggests they do have babies but me and a m8 have just hit our 4th lair and I've not seen one yet. Can anyone guarantee a sighting of a grizzled dewie baby ? Another reason I'm doubting ...
