I always enter a baby's health if one is available. If all I have are adults to go by, I try to figure out a rough average and round to the nearest multiple of 100 so that it is more obvious it is not exact. Yes, ranged is innate, although it is not a part of the new specials system. It is more of an independent property like aggressive or stalker.
