Pet lvls & DNA templates

hey all little new to BE just got 0-0-1-0 done but am wondering
which stat or stats form the DNA sample give the pets its lvl ?

and when you make a DNA Template with the 5 dna samples which section in the craft does the specials come from in the final dna

any help would be nice

Everything contributes to the final pet's level, including the donor's original CL.

As for a guide on what goes where, I suggest reading the BE FAQ on the main SWG forum. There is a lot of information there about the profession.
