non-ch's unable to use a lvl 10 BE Pet. ???

Postby Scoutloch » Wed Jan 05, 2005 2:30 pm

I am BE/CH on corbantis server.

now when i make a pet say for example a choku and BE to lvl 10.

when i train it and try to give to a non-ch, whom i think should be able to use, says can't control this pet.

can someone confirm that the lvl of pet made in Bio-Eng. makes no difference or not.

the lvl is the games base challange level, not the BE lvl.

so if i make a baggerset( Games listed challange lvl is 10 ) to level 20, the non-ch will be able to use as it grows up, until it reaches lvl 11.

on the other hand, if i make a lvl 10 Hurton, the non ch can't not use it at all even as a lvl 1 baby, because its base challabge lvl is 20.

i have a lot of ppl complaining they can't use a bio engernied pet at lvl 10. im guessing because the base lvl of the creature is higher than lvl 10.

can anyone confirm this, or is there some kind of pet bug going around.

thanks.

It is because Choku and Huurton are both aggressive skins. Even if you make it into level 10, if the skin is an aggressive one, non-CH cannot use it.

For more detailed information, you should read
http://swgbe.mmospy.com/modules.php?name=Clone_Guide

It lists all aggressive/non-aggressive skins. Also addresses alot of very important information on BEing in general.

add woolamanders, narglatches and the little horsy-types to the list of lev10's with too high aggression for non-ch users.
