Following, is a recording from an audio journal of Edward Hesris, head researcher at a small settlement on the planet of Lok.

March 14th,

I am almost at a loss for words. The Imperials promised us that they would deliver to us a specimen of creature, worthy of our studies. We expected something amazing, but what we received, was a nightmare....

At precisely 11:45pm 3 days ago, a large Imperial cargo transport landed outside our settlement and unloaded a gargantuan reinforced steel container, about the size of a large house. They told us there were two creatures within that would be prime subjects for our studies. We were foolish for opening that container. The creatures inside were called Kimogilas... failures in some elite Imperial bio-genetic experimentation the Empire had been conducting. When that container was opened, we unleashed hell.

When the doors were open, it was as if the creatures immediately became engulfed with rage. They charged at us, tearing people down, their teeth cutting through flesh like a knife cuts through butter. We tried to run, but very few were able to escape.... they hit us so fast... and those teeth.... those horrible teeth!

We are currently nursing our wounded within the capitol building of the settlement. It appears the kimogilas contain some kind of disease within their fangs, or maybe it's a type of poison.. either way, we can't cure it, and it's likely only a matter of time before our wounded.... die.

The kimogilas have taken our town, destroying most of the buildings, and tearing down the defensive wall that surrounds the settlement. One of the kimogilas was apparently a pregnant female, so their babies now roam the town as well.... the place is completely overrun... I don't think we have any hope left to us. Those creatures are too massive and strong for us to fight off, and they move at an astonishingly fast rate. We've tried to send for help, but all our communications systems are down. Our only hope is to pray that someone stumbles upon this wreck.

I can hear them outside again... they must have gotten hungry... they're... always hungry. What kind of manaical fools would create such a terrible monster? What were they thinking they would gain from such experiments? Good lord, they're breaking through the walls now... I must try to send one last communication out, to warn any other settlement out here... these creautures must not escape Lok.... they... must.. no... get....o.......

Cool writing, but dunno if it really works with what I'm looking for here. While the journal style makes for a good read, I'm looking for more of an almost scientific description of the creatures.

However, it is a good writing and thank you for the submission!

I actually figured this wouldn't exactly be what you're looking for, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to write it up anyways.

I like it...

I like it. In my opinion, having an entry like this in a \"signature\" creature like a kimogila would spice up the site nicely. It'd be cool to have something in a special style for the special creatures.

If we could get a sort of scientific description in addition to what we have here, then I think it would be great. However, this by itself is more of a fictional writing (even though this is all fictional, hehe) than a creature description that I had in mind for this area. Perhaps I should add an 'encounters' area for creatures where this sort of writing could come in?
