can't tame above a white creature

I have gotten to level IV in creature taming but every time I try to tame a creature above a white it says u cannot tame this. What am I doing wrong? In the description of my level it says I can tame ferocious creatures. help!

look on the skills page and find your \"max level of pets\"...you cannot tame above that..if you are tying to tame a particular creature check on the swgcreatures page and determine what level it is

thanks for the info. I have tame wild creatures +30, tame vicous creatures +35. How do I raise these skills?

they raise wirh each box you fill in..

...or get some BE clothing that adds to those skills. Max they can add is +25, so don't go buying 2 or 3 items thinking that you'll get +50 or +75 (like some of us did :P)

Also, there are foods and drinks that improve taming skills. If you dig through these forums, they've been discussed in depth :)
