With everything having a general \"same-ness\" now, I don't know if selling pets will be advantageous.
No specials (save ranged weapon) the pets are pretty much just a different shaped group of polygons now in game. There are no \"rare\" pets to speak of now that I have seen. To think a few of us here camped for weeks for 1 rare pet...
Hoss to the rescue again last night, I got an arachne queen :P
The challenge/ fun/ adrenaline hit is back into taming, now if they could do that with the CU :P
To answer your question, I'd hang on to the pets for a bit and wait till the dust settles...
