You know, that's a good question. With the new system, the concept of an adult creature is more of an abstaction since babies are equal to their adult counterparts.

At one point I thought that when a pet rolled over as many times as its CL it would become an adult, but that would take years for a CL 70 critter.

Maybe when you've opened its maximum slots?

I had a CL10 cu pa and had to roll him over at least 5 times (more like 7 or 8 probably) before I could train him as a mount.

If your refering to just adult size, I believe it is after 9 or 10 XP rollovers, since its probably based on the old system where it was 10% each day. Instead, its 10% each XP rollover until its full grown.
