simple template question

Postby Drayen » Mon Feb 23, 2004 10:15 am

Since this board has more views then the CH one, i dare to post this here :D
I finally made my mind about my template (100% pvm, not pvp involved) and would need your advice on remaining points.

Template :

Master CH
Master Scout
Ranger 0.0.4.0 (tracks + creature knowledge & harvest)
Carabineer 0.4.0.4 (cripling & KD)
Novice Medic (just for personal use)

12 points left...
What would you do with those left points? (can fill 3 blocks of any existing prof)

Carabine assaut for scatter shots?
Medic for more heal ?
Ranger camos kits line ?
Maksman ranged support?
Other?

Thanx in advance!

Well i think your template looks great, it similar to mine only im a pistoleer. I would say not to worry about the Ranger camo kit since you have mask scent, and since the more advanced worlds (where you should be and probably are hunting) dont come until the fourth box and even into master (i think thats for dathomir). I would also ignore the ranged support tree unless you still have points left over. While the combat actions found therein are helpful, you are already well into carbineer and should have no trouble taking down most creatures. That leaves medic, and its nice to be able to heal more and do it faster, but thats up to you really. So in conclusion i think spending the points in your combat profession will be most beneficial. Final thought tho, if you pick up novice artisan you will be able to survey and sample for the inorganics required to craft some medicine, and if you can afford that in skill points it may prove very helpful in the long run (although im not sure you have enough points for a new novice skill).

Thanx alot for your veiws Emmy, this is much appreciated!
Indeed, after reading various forums and guide, i was more geared towards getting more carabine skill.
I dont have enough points (12 left vs 15 cost) to get novice artisan anyway. On top of that my best friend in game is a master artisan/architect and he already does surveys for me :-)

thanx
