I am fond of finding rare creatures, but was curious to hear what the different fellow collectors find to be the most efficient pet per creature level(ie special attacks, defense, attack value, etc.)? Lets break these into categories.
CL-10 (non-CH Pets)
CL-25
CL-35
CL-50
Max
Make your case, and support it with statslets hear what you have to say trappers!!
Good Hunting!!

Of course, there is no competition with BE pets when it comes to effectiveness/lvl. BE's can make a relatively low lvl pet with unreal stats (my BE pet is lvl 30, light armor, 60% kinetic, 420 damage, dizzy/strong poison, 10k+ HAM)
With wild creatures I would say something like:
CL 25 Boar Wolf
CL 40 Merek Avenger
CL 45 Toxic Merek
CL 50 Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader (vs energy opponents)
I am concentrating on survivability on my pets in pve (high kinetic mostly), since I will do the damage myself. Of course other CH's might prioritize differently.
The ultimate pet would for me be the Frenzied Graul (CL 56?).
For PvP the CL 55 Screecher might be a good choice.

Your pet sounds pretty good. Best I have made is a cl29 ar1 with strong poison 9k ham. Basically a bleed tank cause I didn't up the damage at all. But you are right BE pets are unbelievable still. There are still cl0 rancors and such that are just bugged but I see people selling cl10 pets with 10k ham, and ar1 60%kin/energy. Look for one of those if you think you could afford it. Personally for cl20 or so I think I was using mottled wrix or some bird off of dath. Basically cause they had the hp to last a little while but Maskius has the right idea mid-upper level.

CL10- BE creatures: (though should be removed) you should be a creature handler not a dabbler, get a poodle or housecat LOL!
CL25: Gaping spider (26) IMO Or GSP (25)
CL30: Boar wolf ravager (34), Bile drenched Quenker, Gleaming lantern bird (34) (speed) or Giant Angler (35)
CL40: Toxic Merek battlelord (45), Gaping spider recluse (44), Prowling Gurreck (45) (speed) or Gaping queen.
CL50: Arachne Webmaster (50), Widow (58) and my favorite the Mantigrue Screetcher (55).
CL60: Arachne Queen (63) or the infamous Bull rancor (65)
BE Creatures are far superior to all wild Except the Mantigrue Screetcher and Bull Rancor with Area effect plague. No BE creature can have an Area effect weapon.
