Hi, I finaly found a baby mountain dewback and tamed it -- however I cannot turn it into a mount myself... my question is if I have a friend train it to be mountable at lvl 10 (the level it can be mounted) will it keep growing bigger? (size, not lvl) I want it to be as big as possible, but would like to start riding him as soon as possible. Thanks for the help!

Yes, he will continue growing. The only mount that I am aware of that has its growth stopped is the giant carrion spat around CL 7.

When i was asked to either stop growth or lose mount i believe my giant carrion spat was lvl 12

Yeah, they changed the point where giant spats spot growing at some point. It was CL 7, which is where mine is still at because I got it the same day mounts were released. I had not tamed any recently, so I was unaware of the change.

No, that's not what I mean.
Player models resize to fit the mount. Because of this, mounts have a size range where the mount and the model fit. For most, the maximum CL is within the range. However the giant spat exceeds this before it is fully grown, so the growth has to be stunted if it is to remain a mount.

What about savage humbabas? I thought they were the largest mounts
