For making pets, we neeed to get samples from creatures. The process is similar to taming except we need adults and they are more likely to attack. There is a possibility the creature will die after a sample though.

Samples have a long list of stats that are based on what they came from.

These are then put into a template that contains five slots. These slots all contribute to the final creature, but different slots are weighted towards different things such as resistance, health, mind, specials, ranged, etc. Balancing it can be quite difficult and there is much more of a random factor to the final mix than seen with other professions.

The other things we can make are tissues that boost chef food attributes and tissues that can be put into clothing to give skills. These are made from more mundane resources such as meat and flora. Nothing too different from other crafters here.

one more ?

Hard? No. It can be mind-numbingly boring finishing those last boxes, however.

What is hard is making a pet with exactly the stats you want. Tissues are much more simple.

Thanks again
