GPS

This is another one of those posts, I know. But I was inspired by a tale in the CH boards on the official site. So, I would like to try yet again to find the fabled Great Plains Stalker. Any aid would be appreciated. Wish me luck!

By the way, the writers name is Tycalibur if anyone want to read his story. It is exceptionally well written!

The only advice I can give is to try and look early in the morning or very late in the evening. The number of spawns decreases as the number of players increases.
That is not to say you can not get lucky in the afternoon or evening, but your chances drop dramatically.

I have never tamed a GPS. Matter of fact, I've only ever once seen a GPS. I killed it and hoped against hope, but it must've been somebody's left-overs, because not even another adult spawned.
No bulls, no GPS, no screechers... *sigh* At least it keeps me going :)

YEah i tried screechers once. Kept diseasin me. Had to quit after a while. If any of you do SWG forums, I agree with Tivo, rare spawns are like UBER rare.

Well, here is another update. No luck finding a GPS yet, BUT........
I did manage to find a CH on Bria who has tamed one! She gave me some good info and a wp, but i doubt I will ever find a GPS there, since they seem to static spawn. But, it is some hope.

Well on this very site is a guide to the GPS with waypoints, and some more under the GPS creature lookup. I'd just go between those and see what I can see, personally.
I've found a GPS 2 (maybe 3) times. Once (or twice, i dont know if it was two invisible lairs or one with wave size 2) was in the earlier morning after reset, the other at about 9pm est.

One of the first things I did on my hunt was looking up the wonderful guide written by Miltek. Well written with great information. I also give him a lot of credit for the color submission I did for the Great Plains Stalker. Anyway, I think all I have to do is remain vigilant, and hope SOE makes rare creatures slightly easier to find.
