Questions for a returning fan

Hi all i am new to this site as you can see lol
I have recently returned to SWG after a sabaticle in lineage2, and everything i have read looks great since i am a master CH /ranger type :)
but I have been searching several planets for these so called new creatures for 5 days, not that thats a bad thing, but have yet to find more than a archne warrior on the list of new babies. I was told today by someone in game that the bull rancors and other 50+ pets have been pulled from the game, was wondering if anyone here can confirm this for me on not, I mean i see screens of em and i know its a struggle to find one, but am I wasting my time or are they here, so I may continue.

A side note also, I noticed a lot of previous friends and know CH have left the trade when i was gone, when i ask about it, its always the same thing, the BE has killed CH no one needs us anymore, is this how it is?

The BE didn't kill CH, the pre-emptive combat balance is what did us in.

As for the rares, it is tough to say if they are gone or not. These are creatures that spawn with the rarity of holocrons.
