Kimogila not that brave. . .?

Postby DarthMarksman » Wed Aug 11, 2004 12:48 pm

I've read this several times here and had a BE tell me this in game. Anyone have any different experiences with them? I would think these huge reptiles would be fearless.

I cannot make kimogila yet so I am not sure, but this could be something to do with \"ferocity\" of kimogila skin.

This has been bugging me for a while now. BE skins seem to have a set ferocity for each skins. For example, my BE gurrcat has always have ferocity of 8 (you can check this by examining your pet outside of datapad). I don't know if other skins have different ferocity assigned to them or not. I guess I will have to test it sometime soon...

In the meantime, if anyone knows about ferocity for BE skins, please enlighten me.

I have a Kimogila that has almost the same specs as a cat of mine. Level 68 for the gila and 63 for the cat. Both are BE of course. The cat kicks butt but the Kimogila gets beaten up. My guess is that it's size makes it slow to respond to attack. A Janta will hit the gila and then run and then the gila will chase the Janta who will hit him again and run.

A friend who who is a Master Rifleman soloed a Kimogila on Lok the other day. He said he was surprised at how easy it was(about 35 minutes). Hmmm. . .I really was hoping to tame one of these when I progressed far enough.

It is because of the model sizes and ideal attack ranges. The kimo wants to move closer to be able to attack. The other creature wants to move further away to attack. Before you know it the two are running across the map.

So *thats* whats causing my BE'd Fambaa to run around with his tail between the legs.. I just thought he was chicken (reptiles you know)..

Rather annoying though, once I had to spam follow and attack for 10 seconds before it stopped running around and stood still.

Im aware that this is not BE forum, as im a CH and all but would it make an awesome kimogila if all the dna samples were from Bull Rancor?.

and please correct me, since im usually wrong anyway, but i've seen people selling BE-Animals with difficulty rating of 84 and even higher, is that a complete waste of good pet?

Yes, it's a total waste. The highest you can ever control is level 70, and there is nothing in the game to make that any higher.
