Stalkable pets, and why can't they stalk!!

Postby Stejjo » Sat Aug 28, 2004 2:17 am

Hello, I'm new to this site, and I want to add my current 2 cents about CHs, and hopefully this topic hasn't been done already. But being a (almost) master CH I wonder why I have pets that are stalkable, and why can't we use them like a Bounty Hunter uses his droid to stalk things they get off their terminal?

I mean, is it so much to ask to give CHs the ability to have a creature track command. I'm sure they can easily alter the creature empathy line to include the ability to use pets to track npcs, like that damn pirate captian and moisture farmer, because I never use anything in that line anyway, except the tricks of course. I think that would make CH more enjoyable if I could use my pets to help me find things. :D

The same discussion arose on beastlord forums (EQ class, SOE's first MMORPG), of course then the idea was shot down by the players cause they rather wanted to get increases in damage on their pets.

Anyways, they refused to even listen to the logic of having wolfs being able to track then, so dont see why they will bother with listening much now.

It *would* be very handy though. Would probably be a pretty good replacement training for MCH's Transfer command.
