Monstrous Brute

Hey all. I was hunting on Dathomir the other night, searching for that elusive Bull Rancor baby and making some money while I was at it, when I came across something odd. I was approaching a Bull Rancor lair when I saw a rancor out by itself. And yet when I got a look at it, it said 'A monstrous Brute'. I thought that was rather odd, and moved in closer to get some screenshots of it. Has anyone else seen this wandering around on Dathomir? Seems a bit tougher than a Bull Rancor, had about 14k HAM but my own Rancor and myself managed to take it down. Here's the pictures if they show up correctly. One of the brute and it's stats while alive. Another as proof that I did indeed kill it. :)


Just as a note, I know Geocities has some problems, but I'm new to this image thing and I'm still trying to figure out how best to go about it. Last time I posted pics (Cu Pa/Wasteland Cu Pa comparison) one of the admins was nice enough to link it elsewhere. Is there somewhere else that anyone can recommend as a good place to store image files for forum posts like this?

That's odd, cause it says in there boss at the end of an Enraged lair, and I was at a Bull Lair. Unless it wandered from somewhere or was leftover from an old spawn. I dunno. All I know is for a rarer critter my own Rancor and I didn't have too much trouble taking it down. Then again my Rancor has 60% kinetic resist. ;)

they are not uncommon.....they spawn on some er lairs and er bull lairs. they are the last to spawn, only one, when the lair is almost done. they spawn on er missions 37k to 39k missions i believe and randomly.
