Is on Kashyyyk some crature babies? I saw man who catch some Varactyl babies and bolotaurs.

Ehmm man where is that elite varactyl I found eggs but he is not there.

I waited 4 hours for that darn Varactyl to spawn.... decided to leave after that, saw another Master CH run by me. Got stopped by one of the other Varactyls in the area, killed, it. Looked back, and lo and behold, the second I leave the area, there's the big Varactyl. Watched the other CH get owned, teamed up with him and beat the sucker.

To get the CL65 Veractyl mount go to the Rodian hunting camp and speak to Piros I think his name is, he is the one with the veractyl next to him. Then you go to the nest site which is a little valley on the east edge of the map about middle of the map from top to bottom next to the river. The nest is in the back and there are many veractyls here. The mother Veractyl is an elite CL55 and unless she is there there is no egg to get. Respwan seems to be at least 30 mins though I did not keep track of how long mine took. How tough the fight is depends on your template. She incapped my pistoleer/CH and my 3 razor cats while using either a dizzy or stun attack.

The nest area is not too far from this mission giver.

Jagged Fang (Mommy Varactyl) was pretty tough for me to beat solo. I am a MBE/MCH/Ranger 0010 at level 59. I tried my level 69 Young Reptilitan Flyer and then level 70 Kinad Baz Nitch and they did not last long enough for me to finish her off. I used my alt (also MCH) and used 2 pets/2droids for tanking and finally beat her.

This level 65 Varactyl grows insanely fast in my datapad. I think he is growing to full 65 in about 2-3 days.

When I talk to Pirus Gue, all he says is \"Lovely day, mate. Much nicer than that Hoth planet... cold! Oh well, gotta go, time is money!\" or something along those lines.

Is there a prerequisite needed to get the quest?

I am an MCH.

I found JaggedFang and killed her without getting the quest first. All I could do was inspect the eggs that looked \"ready to hatch\" afterwards. Couldn't find anything to pick up :( Does the reward egg always spawn once she's killed?

Any other MCH out there having this problem?

I think I got an answer.

Someone at GameFaqs said the the varactyl mount is only available through the digital download (both the level 10 and the level 65 quested ones). Those of us who went to EB and paid cash for the retail version: \"The Total Experience\" are... well, not really getting the total anything. No varactyl mount unless the devs see fit to change this.

Do you notice, then after pub. 17 Varactyl and Bolotaur have bugged mount? Looks like dewback mount now.
