Keren Swamps - empty

I'm an MCH from Europe-Chimaera and I've noticed recently that the swamps to the East and West of Keren are almost completely devoid of life now. The swamp to the East was particularly good for taming Female Narglatch, swamp stalkers and kaadu. But now there is barely anything there except maybe 1 or 2 flewt. Has anyone else noticed this on other servers?
Also, I bought some cheap BE pets to give away to ppl i meet, some r lvl 5 but when they r fully grown they r half the size of normal adults, is this a bug?
finally, is anyone else having trouble naming their MCH quest Varactyl? mine just will not accept a name, even when other CH have tried. Is it bugged?
