mind wounds

Postby unagi-sashimi » Wed Mar 17, 2004 5:57 am

Quick question. How do you heal a pet's mind wounds? I'm novice medic to heal their health wounds, but I can't get rid of my BE Razor Cat's mind wounds. I don't have trick2 yet, so perhaps that has something to do with it? Please let me know. Thanks.

You can get rid of pet mind wounds just by using Trick1. You can also heal all HAM damage (including mind) by using Pet Stims.

Hope this helps.

I believe Trick1 and Pet Stims only heal mind damage, not wounds. IIRC, you need Trick2 to heal mind wounds.

Hmmm as far as I can tell, I have been using Trick1 to heal their wounds and damage... I usually use the following:

Health damage: StimC
Action damage: StimC
Mind damage: Trick1
Health wounds: foraged food
Action wounds: foraged food
Mind wounds: Trick1

Since I am a BE now, I am planning to replace StimCs with Petstims, but I am not good enough to make anything better than A's so I am still using StimCs.

Thanks, all. I'll try using trick 1 again and see what happens. My razor cat suffered extreme wounds from a kimogila, and it's possible I just didn't notice the healing when I did it, because he has a huge HAM. If trick 1 doesn't work, I'll just have to wait for trick 2. I didn't know if there was perhaps a quicker way. Thanks for all the suggestions!

trick 1 worked. It just took very long.
