I'm a CH 2-3-1-4 and I can't seem to tame either Graul Maulers (level 35) or even Boarwolfs (level25) I am a Bothan w/no bio clothing. Whats up?

Since you are not a wookie, you need to work your way up the first column to be able to tame aggressive creatures. Once you get to 3-3-1-4 you should be ok to tame both. I think it is +15 for 2-0-0-0 and another +15 for 3-0-0-0, but since I am a wookie, I haven't paid too much attention to that tree.

A very rough estimate is that you can tame something 12-13 levels above your taming modifier. BE clothes (up to +25) will let you raise this significantly.

You still cannot tame above your max pet CL, however.
