I'm trying to figure the better pet for hunting Nightsister, now that they use force powers like lightnings.
I used my blurrg (light armor, 20% kin, 80% electr) but he has been hit hardly when they went in CaC. (i tried to use the ranged attack, but the NS are changing target often)
Could be better the Toxic Merek Battlelord? (40 kin - 60 electr)

Anyone know what type of damage is force choke?

I can tell you that a rhoa kwi pack leader didn't last too long against them, nor did my gurreck, who is my best all-purpose fighter. I don't know what that infernal attack is either, sorry.

I'm not sure what type Choke is, but my best guess would be Restraint. Since it is.... well, restraining your breathing.

restraint damage dosent exsist in game it was a beta thing, ignore it

Hehe.. swoops+dathomir+nightsisters = bad... i lost 2 last night.. 2 the day before.. and 1 x34 and 1 speeder bike the day before that... isnt nightsisters fun? :D

Now iwe started to use an mount there lol let it take the time it takes but im saving cash xD

since.. hmm Force powers cant be resisted at all, they go right trough the armor, and.. the light saber special they are throwing sometimes with Stun Baton (OUCH!), my advice is to \"skip\" them unless you have a group.

I think theres no really good pet against NightSisters, unfortunately. Last time i was a fool, and i was owned hard.. 30k worth of damage with Cascade Of Hatred, 2500 buffs, 80 composite. Needless to say, i learned my lesson there. :shock: :oops:

I bet the nighsister had :twisted: Emotes after she owned me, good thing i didnt use my rancor.

best way to kill a nightsister with pet, is to be a rifleman and use conceal shot till they notice you, once they notice you sick your pet on them (to tank) and then strafe the heck outta them. I;ve tried just about every ch template I can think of and rifle/ch is the best IMO

I read up on 'force choke'

It does not do damage, per se. Instead, it reduces your total available health by about half per choke. Even if you are being healed furiously, it will eventually drop your available health to 0/0 (or maybe it stops at 1/1).

So say that your HAM is 1000. You start the fight at 1000/1000. Then you get force choked. Now your HAM is at 500/500 (or close to it). Then you get choked again and your HAM drops to 250/250. On top of that, you are taking some harsh damage from force lightning and regular kinetic blows.

Best strategy? If you can't kill them quickly (which would probably take a light saber to do), run away. Next time I aggro one, I'll pay attention to see if this is actually what happens when you're choked.

Heh i lost a swoop the other day..nightsister did force lighting ON THE SWOOP but not on me...it was weird...but i try to just avoid them altogether so i dont lose that many. also the following is true

Dath+buffs+ubese+Master Elite Prof+rancors+crimson razor cat-1240 CH exp each time u kill an enraged rancor, which are easy.
