The amazing disappearing creature trick

I wonder if I am the only one with this problem, I have my lvl 16 bantha grouped with me (BE 60% kenetic resist tank) I send him to attack the lair and aggro the creatures; as I start picking off the creatures one-by-one, the bantha disappears. The pet is not storing (I still get the option to store) and the group is auto disbanded when the pet disappears. It dosent do this all the time, but when it does I'm unbuffed and automatically the new target for the p-o-d creatures. Any ideas? Is it me? Do my pets hate me?

not to worry mini-me, it's not just you, both myself and my partner have had this problem with pets and it can be a little frustrating when you are suddenly without pet and on your back incapped hehehe. i've reported it as a bug but its still happening randomly now and again...

it happened to me 3 times today. 2nd and 3rd time my 1st pet disappeared and left group, 10 sec later 2nd pet disappered

I've had it happen myself, and sometimes, both the hostile creatures AND my pets vanish!

Mine dont disappear, they either run around without attacking the enemy (lag induced) or just dont listen to commands right after calling them. When that happens I can \"store\" them but they remain in the world, and then when I call them again there are more than one of them up at once. Not that the first one does anything.

ive not only had it with creatures then me getting incaped :oops: but also when either in my speeder, swoop or landspeeder just traveling or while im using it as an escape vehicle.......it 1s happened to me when trying to get away from 3 ancient bull rancors then POOF.... its gone and im trying to run away from summing thats 10 times TALLER THAN ME :shock:

I had this happen to me for the first time just the other day while taking on savage humbabas on Corellia; my pet was fighting one and suddenly *poof* the humbaba disappeared. I tapped the lair, two more emerged... sent the pet for them and *poof* they vanished too, in mid-fight, taking my pet with them apparently... suddenly I was alone and confused.
When I went to the datapad it said he was still out, so I had to store him and then call him again.

happened to me the other night too. in the middle of a group of really angry mutant womp rats. ouch.
