Just a question. At sunday's BEAST meeting we talked about level 0's being non-tradable e.g. they would go poof on the new owner after he tried to call it for the first time after a trade. Yesterday, a very smug fellow came up to me to announce that he had THE best pet in the game. Naturally my first response was Bull Rancor? when he said No then I knew he had to have either a bugged or exploit type pet. He had a very nice level 0 gurreck with just about 13k hams and did around 600 damage. I won't argue that it's a nice cat, but I did find myself talking to him about how trading it would make it unusable as a pet so it really wasn't worth as much as he thought. He said that he had just recently traded it and it worked fine for him. Since I've only been a CH since after the great nerf of 2003 I really don't know if he was right, or if the info I got at the BEAST meeting (with Vertexon present of course) is right. Anybody have insight or first hand knowledge :?:

I don't have any insight, but if he called it to show you, wouldn't that mean that he's probably right? And if he didn't call it, why didn't he? I'd wanna show that cat off to every single player in the universe :) And why did the previous owner trade it to him? I'd wanna keep a gem like that...

WOW ! I'd like 5 of those please.... :) Three to keep and parade around, and 2 to sell and get rich.... :) I'm totally amazed that a lvl 0 pet can even be crafted. Much less with statistics like that.

they can't be crafted anymore..they are pre nerf pets....from before my swg time...no idea if they can be traded..but i would tend to think the devs would be wanting to fade them out

Good point, he never called the pet out...I examined it in the trade window. I'll have to ask him to call it next time I see him.

I could test this. I have a handful of crummy pre nerf pets that would probably be 0 when 'tamed'. I've had them for ages, knew they were pre-nerf but haven't done anything with them. They are house decorations, hehe.

I'll give it a shot next time I'm online and see if I can talk someone into trading with me.

Well, not sure what I ended up doing with those critters because they are nowhere to be found. Ah well =/

I've been fortunate enough to have had two different 1(0) Rancors. I bought them both and have had no problem using them. When i got the second one, of course I was thinking 3 at once, but they don't work that way. It wouldn't let me pull out two 0's at a time because of being over the max. I can take out one with another Rancor (38) and a Graul (30), but I have to bring out the 0 as the last pet or it won't work.
I passed on the second 1(0) to a friend when I found I couldn't use two at a time, and as far as I know he hasn't had any trouble using it either.
