Buffing Pets??

First off I'd like to say that this is my first post and i totally love this site, its an excellent resource.

The other day while playing Halo 2 :P ... my lil bro called my from the computer he was playing on. He says, \"Andrew [my name], check this out! This guy is buffing his pets!\" Naturally I didnt beleive him because my brother is an idiot, but i looked at it, and there was a doc buffing his pet (some kind of cat as i recall). You could see the wierd blue stuff above the pet as the doc's arm outstreched just like he was buffing a player. I stole the mouse from my brother, targeted the pet and I could see it's health go up on the next buff.

So am I an idiot and the only person that didnt know you could buff pets, or did i stumble upon a hidden gem here? (me thinks the former, but I have to ask :))

:D Yes you can buff pets via doc, or by using the buff foods. I think alot of people don't bother with doc buffs because they go away when the pet stores. It's just incovenient to buff up a pet and walk it across the map to the target or desired location...all the while hopeing that it doesn't auto-store on you halfway there.

Yes you can buff the secondaries. A buffed pet actually recovers its HAM bars at a reasonable rate due to higher regen secondary stats. The other secondaries have no effect as pets do not use HAM for specials like players do (You can buff them but there is no effect)

i recently learned that you can buff pets..but beware if you store them or travel they will lose them...so only buff pets if your not planning on traveling far..unless of close you plan on walking there.

I will buff my pets when I go out hunting...walk awhile, Ranger Area Track, narrow in on the next target, definitly works well...
