I would stick to around the cities and kill the noob stuff for a while. Then as I got a few boxes, I would get buffed and go to Dath and go after rancors. I would do this with a Razor cat or a Grand Wrix. It was fun and if all went well, I would get about 650 -720 xp per ranc.

Something to keep in mind is that if your pet goes down, NO xp for the rest of the fight. So, it is best to tank it, and send in the pet near the very end. All it has to do is score one hit.

(actually, i dropped the ranger and became a master rifleman before the NGE)

I got a great group of friends together and spent alot of time in the geo caves for my last 4 boxes and got one box per day about two hours a day
