Are you sure? I have tamed 3 mountain dews at the same time and only used one for fighting while they grew. I don't think it grew any faster than the others. I think I also did that with the 3 graul I tamed at the same time.

I could be wrong, but I have never noticed a difference.

This has been my question for a while now, too. I have experienced faster growth by \"petting\" them using macro though. I may have been wrong, but it seemed to grow \"much\" faster if I pet/cheer/hug him once in a while...

Now I just tamed 2 lvl31 gurrcats at the same time and will test my theory by taking one out and pet while keeping the other stored at all times. Will let you know what happens...

Ok, now both of my pets are fully grown and there was NO difference in their growth(I was wrong...). I had one out for an extended time period and was petting/hugging/cheering for it for many hours while the other was always in the datapad (I took it out only when I taught it commands).

I do not know if using a pet in combat accelerates its growth or not. But I can say that just taking a pet out does not speed up its growth.

I gave a Cl10 pet to a friend of mine, two days later he told me it was full grown. I know normal pad growth is 10 days (no matter what lvl)

it could be true,i had a few pets that grew more than once in a day when i took them out often compared to one per day to ones i leave in my datapad till theyre full grown

It seems the Kaadu I am taking out and using to help kill critters with is grown faster than the one I have in my datapad. Nothing scientific but what is happening to me. I am trying it out with a couple of rock mites and the same thing. The one I use is getting grown faster while the other is taking its time.

Some other criteria that CH have speculated about concerning pet growth are:

Number of pets in datapad - Some swear that pets grow faster if they are the only pet in the datapad. Others say they grow faster if they are the only growing pet in the datapad (the others have already matured). Some say that they grow faster if you have 2 or more of the same type of pet growing at the same time.

Feeding and caring - Aside from the ideas already pointed out here, some speculate that feeding a pet makes it grow faster. It would need wounds so you could feed it, so it would have to fight as well. Some think that using 'stat food' helps too. Also, some think that the frequency of using tricks helps to stimulaute growth.
