Does a pet's level count against max pet levels?

Postby SofaKingdom » Fri Apr 30, 2004 9:27 pm

If my max level is, say, 20, and I have a level 10 mount, can I also have out my level 20 pet?

nope, the combined levels of all your pets out have to be at or below your max level

Like it's been said, the levels have to add up and still be below your max pet level. Also, at Creature management 3 you get to call 2 pets out at once (still being equal or less to your max pet level) and at Master CH you get to call 3 at once being equal to or less than 70.

Having 3 level 70 pets (or even level 50) out at the same time would be a tad overpowering don't you think? It's not like we're underpowered as it stands now.

BTW, I had 71 levels out at once a few days ago (50+17+4).

I think you misunderstood me, Juicer. I said equal to or less than your max. So if your max is 25, then yeah, you can use a 25 but you could also use a 13 and a 12 (if you had the proper skill). You just couldn't use a 13 and a 13 because it would be over 25 then. :)

thats what i meant Yvesof, but thats weird because on the SWG site ( www.starwarsgalaxies.com ) if you look through the player of the day screenshots, there's one (a master creature handler, im guessing) with three rancors following him.

Actually just after i typed that i realized there might have been 3 handlers with 3 rancors following the one person....

Or bugs, or growing/BE'd rancors, or from back in the day when there was no CL cap...

ahh, yes. There could be a couple of different explanations for that one, Juicer. Lantyssa got 2 good ones there. I know there are some CL (1) Rancors still left in the game from a really early bug.
