What's up with Plains Tusk Cats?

HOw come some baby animals (Male Plains Tusk Cat is one of 'em) that have aggresive parents can be tamed even if you don't have aggro-taming skill? Are some animals not aggresive until they grow up or sumthin? :?

The tusk cats aren't infact aggro. I know they are \"red\" on the radar but if you examine them it says that they aren't aggro.

They can be red if they r stalker too.
