Last night, became a Novice Creature Handler, while leveling Pikeman on Corellia. Immediately tamed a bagareset, then went to Tatooine to train 2 lesser dewbacks. Will use these guys soon to fight for more XP. What should I get next?

I'm thinking a slice hound for it's stun attack.

The hard part about novice is that usually your CL goes to the next levels before your novice pets reach maturity and are able to fight to their fullest potential. With that in mind, I'd say you're doing great with dewbies and a bag :)

Some of the other creatures that are good for fighting are:
Forest Murra
Swamp Gurrcat
Wrix
Injured Purbole
Kaadu Female
Dashing Vir Vur
Potbellied Vrobal
Wood Mite
Fynock

At CL 14 you could upgrade to:
Jungle Fynock
Rock Beetle
Veermok
Kaadu Male
Forest Mite
Vrobal

But at CL 16 you start getting some classics:
Cowardly Gurreck
Bantha
Canoid Hunter

Have fun :)

Cowardy Gurrecks are good for Xp, to me. I still have my 2 Cowardy Gurrecks even though I am a master. I love them. :D

Once you are at level 25 Grand Wrixes and Greater Sludge Panthers are good pets. Their size is just awsome too. :)

I am currently using a pair of wrix's(one given to me by an experianced plyer) (and one I tamed on Correllia), a spined snake (awsome little guy untill I can tame a crystal snake on yavin IV), a bantha(that I traded a mountable dewbie for), a guf drolg(from dath), a lesser plains bol(from Dantooine) and I gurrcat I bought from a BE's vendor.

I can't wait untill I can call both wrix's at the same time cause I also use a probot droid (level 19) I get awsom xp from each solo mission wherever I go.

- 3900 HAM
- Ferocity 9
- Special Attack: Stun
- Blazing fast and fearless
- The males are somewhat weaker
