good pets?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me some really good pets around the CL 20 range. maybe from about CL. 18- Cl. 24? Thx in advance.

Hmm, good pet meaning all-around good?

I'm a big fan of dewbacks at that level. A mountain dewbie from Tat is a friend for life. There are better kinetic pets and better damaging pets, but dewbies are pretty balanced between the two.

I guess you know about advanced search. You can specify the level or range creature that you need and sort those results by HAM, kinetic resist, damage, whatever it is that you need most from a pet. :)

edit: I just took a quick look at the advanced search results and, of all the critters who are high on the lists of HAM, kinetic, and damage, the giant stintaril from Yavin IV is your best bet. I didn't include aggro creatures in my search, so that might change the results. And I used level 22 as the cap.

Thx zurlaboo, this should be helpful. I looked at the advanced search and came out with the razor cat being very good. 7000 HAM, 220-230 damage, and 10% kinetic resists. I would like to know if you think this is a good pet and if I should pursue a tame of one of these.

Oh yes indeed! Razor cats are a must in every CH's career. There's a reason why so many CH love the cats, and why there are so many cats in the game. They are almost always a worthwhile pet :)

At one time, I had 3 razor cats and loved them. If one cat gets low on health, I just switched to the next and kept going. My wild pet choice almost always evolved around cats.

I can't wait till I can get a crimson razor cat that is my goal, right now, but i have a ways to go.

If you like cats try a Greater Sludge Panther.
They have an 8000 ham and do about 250 damage. They are also very fast, it's the first pet I've had that can keep up with my speeder.

Added bonus they look very cool and are Huge!!!

I love crimsons, a few days ago i had 5, but i just deleted one to make room so now only 4 :D they are awesome...i like cats in real life too, but crimsons have always been my favorite in game. so yeah i can finally have a bunch :D now i gotta find a GPS...
