[b:2af8198333]CreatureLord, I bet everyone here except me understands your question, but could you please explain it to me? Are you saying that these creatures can be called/tamed as babies by non-CHs? If you are not, what are you saying? I am confused.[/color:2af8198333][/b:2af8198333]

[quote:e6c309a3c4=\"Lantyssa\"]Any non-aggressive creature, of CL 10 or less, after taming by a creature handler, is usable by a non-handler.
Creature Handlers much still tame them and, if desired, train them. Non-handlers simple have the benefit of being able to call them as companions.[/quote:e6c309a3c4]
[b:e6c309a3c4]Are these the ones I have heard you talk about taming and releasing? How would a non-CH member recognize such a creature?[/color:e6c309a3c4][/b:e6c309a3c4]

Non-aggresive creatures show up as yellow dots on the radar. Aggresive ones show up as red dots.
Creature handlers can only tame yellow dots at first, unless they are wookies who get natural modifications to training vicious creatures, or possibly unless they are using clothing that modifies their vicious taming abilities. (I don't use CH mod clothes, so I don't know for sure how they work.)
As a CH trains the 'taming' branch of their tree, they get modifications that allow them to train the red dots.
As far as recognizing what level a creature is, I've always used the bestiary database at this site for my information. You can use the advanced search feature to narrow your search down to whatever you need to find. You can also look up specific creatures by typing their name in the regular search box. As a newly trained novice CH, you can tame creatures who are non-aggressive up to challenge level (CL) 12. Using the advanced search feature, you can pull up a list of every creature available to you for taming.
The creatures that we tame and release are different. There are two ways to make experience as a CH. One is to let our pets fight mobs. The other way is to 'tame and train' Basically, whenever a CH sees a baby creature, they try to tame it. A successful tame will give the CH experience points. The CH may then train commands for additional experience points. As you can imagine, many of these creatures that we tame along the way are of no use to us other than skilling up.
The number of creatures that we can store in our datapad is limited. Otherwise, we would just keep everything we tamed. So to make room for new tames, we release those that we don't need. That is what we mean when we talk about taming and releasing. Hope that answered the question, I kind of rambled there :)
