im currently 4-2-1-4,going well,started on rancors,my poor little monkey thing is at 80 vital,stopped that because it was a pain in the ass because of dathomirian hills and such,got up to 2-1-1-4 like that (had 1-1-1-1 when i started because i had done CH before and had some leftover XP),now im doing it at the geo caves,done the rest of those levels i had there,in one night,but that was jsut lucky,so many people there that the geos died before they could agro my pet,but my pet agroed them,use the following macro there (by the way,though im macro grinding,im only doing CH for fun,and keeping it,screw anti CHs...)
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/tellpet kill;
/loot; (lots of geo loot to be had)
/pause 1;
/macro chmacro
there any better way to do it,because now that im not getting that many people at the caves anymore my pet dies ALOT quicker,left him for awhile he lost 10 vital...hunting rancors my pet jsut keeps dying because he agros rancors and rancors agro him,and i have to be there every second of that kind of grinding,which gets boring,repetitive,and of course those damned dathomirian hills...

Dragon, keep doing rancors or geos, or whatever gives the most CH exp, but YOU attack the creature first, standing closer to it than your pet is (like 0m or 1m from it when your pet is 2m), and it SHOULD attack you instead of the pet.

I almost forgot...
I have seen BE auctioning off massive amounts of pets to train & kill. This would be the fastest way to get to master. Pay a BE a few million credits to make you about 1000 low level bio-pets to train and destroy.
Personally, I think you should grind it out in the field, but to each his/her own.

[quote:54986e9f3d=\"Warrote\"]I got a majority of my CH XP doing Voritor Hunter missions on Dantooine with hunting groups. If you got to the Mining Outpost, there are always groups looking for people to join.
But it sounds like you want an easy way out (AFK), so this probably isn't what you're looking for.

It's not this way on all servers, unfortunately. My name on Bloodfin is Makon (I remember seeing you a long time ago). I play on Shadowfire mostly now as a Master Creature Handler Wookiee named Uraun. As far as I know, there are never any Voritor Hunter groups in the Dantooine Mining Outpost. Everyone there is capable of soloing with their buffs and armor, so they do it. I hope the buff and armor nerfs will make groups more desirable.
Try to find someone to do Voritor Hunter missions with. I took a Novice CH under my wing and let him come on the missions with me. My pets tanked, and as long as his pet got a hit in, it was great.

well... ive had the most different style to get my CH tree going up .. i think. Yeah a slower, but i have the time :).
on novice: i started to hunt near Bestine, mountain worrts with my mountain dewbacks. 220xp per kill, plus nice polearm exp. I did this for quite a while, up to.. 3/3/3/3 i guess, but there were some moments when i hunted on Rori, those pirate guys.
My theory.. was that there is 2 types on XP to gain.. slower, you must heal and wait before you can attack again (this just means your targets are tough), and fast XP where you can just keep on going and sometimes heal your pet with stimpacks, this last one is a better choice. Mountain worrts are just like that :).
Since that.. ive been hunting pretty much anything, rancors, grauls, mountain squills and so on but i found out that the Mokks & Jantas give nice exp too even with my Delirious Merek.
340xp for the other guys, 600 xp for the shamans. Its pretty good, if you can just help your pet. Im a Master Pikeman so, its not a problem. Im planning to get to MCH with these guys, 2 boxes missing, soon 1 :P. plus.. you get nice reward for the mission :) 20-31 k
edit: but its not a good thing to do Mokks at novice unless you have \"Elite combat profession\" of some sort, they are pretty tough nowadays.
1. Hunt voritors, or group at the geo cave, group at the tusken fortress (thats a pretty good place too but sometimes very populated). Hunt rancors as a group.. and so on.. theres many more possibilities than just the most common ways :)

Tusken fort is ace, if you see someone attacking something tell them youre pet just needs to hit once for full xp then send pet on thiere mob and take it off, they usally dont mind you get full xp and dont need to bother killing the mob :D
