The difference is that multi-letter commands can use tellpet so you aren't spamming everyone in spatial.
If typing it out bothers you, I suggest making a macro then using the hotbar or binding it to a key. Then you have one button press compared to multiple ones [i:8b449f864d]and[/i:8b449f864d] you can avoid spam.

It works fine for me, but i got a question about the \"guard\" command.
Anyone know how it works? When i call my pet and say the command, it just kinda sits there, so i go attack something, and the pet still just sits there....the whole time im fighting it does nothing. But sometimes when i type it 2 or 3 times it works, other times it doesn't. Anyone know how to use it?

Tellpet is bugged (of course), some people cant get it to work at all, others have no problems with it, you just have to test it and see if it works for you, just make sure the commands are longer than 1 letter before you decide its not working.
About guard command, does anyone know if you can have your pets guarding more than 1 target, like how you can make them befriend the entire group?
