The foods that I use most are those almond cookies and jawa beer. The cookies give me a boost to my taming skills. It's also the only way I can call my kimo. Jawa beer improves masked scent and has saved my butt a few times.

Clothes can be many different types. A bioengineer makes the special threads that a tailor sews into the clothing to create the wearable item. I don't know what the different effects available are. My pants add +5 I think, but you can get better. There is a cap of +25 on how much effectiveness you can get from clothing.

Although I have never tried it yet, Sweesonberry Rolls are supposed to add a small buff to pets' health, action and mind for like 40min.

Oh yeah, there's also a bread that artisans can make at a fairly low level that will buff your pet. It's not much of a buff, but ya never know... The sweesonberry rolls are a much better buff, but I think those are made by chefs.

Shirts you can usually wear under your armor. I have one that boosts my masked scent and Camo by +15. And I have a hat that boosts my taming for Wild and Vicious creatures by +25. They are very expensive tho. Luckily I have a pretty Master Tailor for a good friend, And my best bud is a Master BE. I also have a shirt and pair of pants that are +25 taming Vicious and Wild. The pants aren't really practical as Most of the critters we would want to tame would chew right thru them.... :)

And remember...Any taming clothes you wear under your armor will take damage and need repair....And will lose condition each time its repaired. So don't be absent minded like me and \"unequip\" it when you're not actually on a taming hunt. My hats down 25% already.

My Artisan/Shipwright is also a Novice chef. And I've noticed that several foods are \"pets only\". But I've never tried any of them as I only bring my pets in at the last moment before the critters go down to get CH XP.

This is only doable for a MeLee Combat CH tho. Those foods would be more useful for a ranged Combat CH. They don't seem to give much of a boost and don't last long...But every little bit would help I guess... :)

For taming clothes I don't know, but I know this... The only way that I was ever able to lower my clothes condition was through death (decay)
