The Greater Gulginaw

Postby Ness_Gorath » Fri Mar 11, 2005 11:42 pm

As most of you know, the Greater Gulginaw has been MIA for a long long time. I, myself, have never seen a sighting of them and i looked long and hard. Originally they spawned in the western mountins of corellia. But they moved them to Talus where they spawned in the northern and north east mountains, where i have been looking everytime i get a chance even with rangers. So i decided, instead of rambling about it on the creatures facts, i would post on it this way others can relize what is going on. I would like if other people (especially those who travel to talus alot) would look for these, just a spawn to verify they exsist. It started out as helping a friend of mine, crim, to find one, but now its my missions to find a spawn. I own almost all the rares and ill tell you one thing, this is the hardest thing iv even searched for, i mean with the spawns being broken on talus and the mountains and grrr lol ok well if anyone knows anything or wants to help me out please post here! thanks :!:

Luckily I still have one from when they apparently did spawn. Good ranged support pet, though the flapping wings get freaking annoying after a while.

Back in the old days I searched high and low for these things, I never found one of these on Talus. I did however find several on Corelia while doing the Nyax cult missions. If I remember right I took the missions from Tyrena, I will look tonight and re-confirm if I do find anything and report tomorrow.

Due to their low HAM and damage output I had this pet for only a short time as the screetchers having a similar body do much better.

Finding a BE version of this body may be recommended unless it is for show...

Unfortunately, we BEs cannot craft any flying creatures.

Nope no AOE attack carry over.

Therefore, even if I use BE pets most of the time, I still would use the following wild creatures.

Mantigrue Screecher
Gaping Spider Recluse
Bull Rancor (wish I had one of these...)
(Not counting in Frenzied Graul :P)
